Time to say this...

With this blogentry I would like to say Thank You! Thank you to all the supporters of my project. A special greet goes to my hosts in Paris, Lisbon, Dakar, Johannesburg, Captown, Daressalam, Cairo, Emirate Dubai, Emirate Sharjah, Muscat, Uthai-Thani, Phuket, Pattaya, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney, Auckland, Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Mexico-City, Charlotte, Nassau, New York, Cherry Hill, Marlon, Carlisle, Toronto, Washington D.C and Rio de Janeiro! Eyery single person did help me to finish my project "In 80 days around the world as a Extreme-Couch-Hopper" succesfully. Within these 80 days I met a lot of new friends, who showed me that we're living in a good world and that it is worth to trust into the good of human being. I just can hope, that I will meet you again - one day, somewhere. And for sure, I will make the best out of it without being in rush. For your information (because most of you can't readmy german blog): I started to write my book. It is not as easy as I thought. And I still hope, that we will find a publisher who is interested in distribute the book on the english speaking market. Anyway, the last few days I gave a lot of interviews, the media interest is quite high. And actually I do have new ideas for the future. I just have to figure out, how to find the right way and the time to realize them. A special thank also to my sponsors Star Alliance, Kodak, bergfreunde.de, id2m, silver sound, DerLeuschner who supported my project in financially or ideally way. German Christmas and Austrian New Year

Nach 2 Wochen Winter-Wonderland sind wir zurück in Houston. Weihnachtsmarkt, Feiertage, gutes deutsches und österreichisches Essen wie auch Pistenzauber und Apr é s Schi liegen hinter uns und das neue Jahr beginnt mit einer Diät. An der Talstation fällt mir an diesem Tag auch noch ein Reisebus auf. Ich lese flüchtig etwas von "American Football and Cheerleading". Der Name des Teams, "TSG 1862 Weinheim Longhorns" lässt mich als "Möchtegern-Texaner" schmunzeln. Jetzt müsste ich nur noch wissen, ob das 'cheering' in Englisch oder Deutsch stattfindet. In diesem Sinne wünsche ich allen ein Happy New Year!
