Es klingt zu abstrus, um wahr zu sein: Ausgerechnet ein Hit von DJ Ötzi soll Harry und Meghan in schweren Zeiten geholfen haben. Stimmt es? Natürlich nicht. Trotzdem berichteten etliche österreichische Zeitungen darüber.
Die Memoiren von Prinz Harry werden seit Tagen genüsslich auseinandergenommen. Immerhin stehen darin ja auch viele Abschnitte, die sehr skurril klingen: So schreibt Harry von 25 Taliban-Kriegern, die er getötet haben will, oder von seinen Eskapaden unter Kokain-Konsum.
Ein Detail blieb aber fast allen Medien verborgen: Prinz Harry und Meghan sollen sich mit dem Party-Kracher "Burger Dance" von DJ Ötzi in schweren Zeiten getröstet haben. Der Song habe ihnen "die Kraft gegeben, weiterzumachen und nicht aufzugeben" und gerade "die emotionale Choreographie" habe sie motiviert, dem Königshaus die Stirn zu bieten.

Klingt ziemlich absurd, aber muss doch stimmen, schließlich hat die Meme-Seite "galerie.arschgeweih" das Zitat im Buch gefunden und auf Instagram gepostet und die Seite ist schließlich hochseriös – so oder so ähnlich muss die Logik in österreichischen Redaktionen gewesen sein. Jedenfalls berichteten dort in der Folge etliche Medien über den vermeintlichen Song-Erfolg aus österreichischer Feder.

So schrieb etwa die "Tiroler Tageszeitung": "Bei DJ Ötzi dürften zuletzt sogar die Sektkorken geknallt haben. Denn ausgerechnet der „Burger Song“ aus dem Jahr 2003 hat dem Prinzen und seiner Ehefrau in schwierigen Zeiten „wieder Kraft“ gegeben." Daneben berichteten auch "OE24" und "heute.at", "Salzburg24" ergänzte: "Klar ist, vom kraftgebenden "Burger Dance" werden jetzt Millionen von Menschen lesen."

Nun, dazu wird es wohl nicht kommen: Das Zitat ist frei erfunden und findet sich so im Buch nicht wieder. Das räumte nun auch die Meme-Seite selbst ein: "Wir haben letztens ein Meme gepostet, in dem wir geschrieben haben, dass Prinz Harry geheimer DJ Ötzi Ultra ist… jetzt kommt's: Diese info war FREI ERFUNDEN". Wer hätte es gedacht?
