Im August hatte Ricarda Lang geheiratet und auch ihr Hochzeitsbild auf Instagram geteilt. Sie in einem schlichten weißen Kleid, er im roten Anzug. Doch wie bei jeder anderen Braut, gibt’s auch bei ihr den Part davor, den mit den Lockenwicklern im Haar, den noch ungeschminkten Teil des Tages. Diese Bilder werden dann selten in den sozialen Netzwerken geteilt. Doch Ricarda Lang nimmt sich da nicht zu ernst und lacht über sich: "Glamouröses Pre-wedding-Outfit", schreibt sie selbstironisch zu dem Schnappschuss.

Viele Kommentare zum Foto bestärken Ricarda Lang. Finden es gut, dass sie sich so zeigt. Die Grünen-Chefin ist bekannt dafür, immer mal wieder auch Persönliches auf ihrem Instagram -Kanal zu teilen. Ricarda Lang (30) und Florian Wilsch (31) hatten am 17. August geheiratet. Die Feier war im Vergleich zu beispielsweise Christian Lindners Hochzeit eher bescheiden, rund 150 Gäste sollen in etwa dabei gewesen sein.

Seit 2022 ist Prinzessin Kate Schirmherrin der englischen Rugby Football Union und der Rugby Football League. Engagements, die sie von Prinz Harry nach dessen Ausscheiden aus dem britischen Königshaus übernommen hat. Die englischen Rugby-Frauen, genannt Red Roses, kämpfen an diesem Samstag im Finale gegen Kanada um den Weltmeistertitel – und Prinzessin Kate drückt die Daumen. Auf dem offiziellen Instagram-Account von William und Kate veröffentlichte die 43-Jährige eine persönliche Nachricht an die Spielerinnen. "Viel Glück, England! Wir sind so stolz auf euch", schrieb sie. Dazu wurde ein Foto veröffentlicht, auf dem Kate mit rotem Cowboy-Hut zu sehen ist. Anfang des Monats besuchte die Prinzessin das Rugby-Team nach einem erfolgreichen Vorrundenspiel in Brighton. Dort entstand der Schnappschuss mit den Sportlerinnen, die Kate den Cowboyhut überreichten
