Viele US-Amerikaner hegen seit der Wahl von Donald Trump spontane Auswanderungspläne. Ein Schwede wollte Abhilfe schaffen - und sich bei Ebay für 50.000 Dollar verkaufen. Hochzeit inklusive.
Für viele US-Amerikaner war die Wahl von Donald Trump zum neuen Präsidenten ihres Landes ein Schock, den sie nur schwer verdauen können. Sie plagen sich mit Auswanderungsgedanken, zwischendurch brach sogar die Webseite der kanadischen Einwanderungsbehörde zusammen.
Den 30-jährigen Schweden Gustav Hallén brachte das auf eine Idee: Für 50.000 Dollar bot er sich bei Ebay zur Hochzeit an - inklusive schwedischer Staatsbürgerschaft für den "Käufer". Sicher einen Anreiz für potenzielle Interessenten stellte dabei das Foto des blonden Surfertypen dar. In der Beschreibung des "Artikels" heißt es unter anderem: ""Die USA ist soeben zum Auswanderungsland geworden. Warum nicht an einen besseren Ort ziehen, wie Schweden? (...) Bin offen für Männer, Frauen und andere. Ich liebe lange Spaziergänge, Netflix und Chillen."

Ebay: "Nicht erlaubt, Freiheit zu verkaufen"
Bei Instagram ließ Hallén allerdings verlauten, dass er seine Freunde mit dem Scherz nur zum Lachen bringen wollte. In einem CNN-Interview verriet er zudem: "Den Preis habe ich bewusst hoch gesetzt, damit ich keine echten Angebote bekommen." Lange musste er sich aber keine Sorgen machen, dass jemand sein Angebot tatsächlich zu ernst nehmen könnte: Nach kurzer Zeit wurde sie von Ebay gelöscht. Hallén veranlasste das zu einer entsprechenden Reaktion bei Instagram: "Offenbar ist es nicht erlaubt Freiheit auf Ebay zu verkaufen."
