Ana Ivanovic hat ihre Tennis-Karriere nun auch offiziell beendet. Die schönsten Glückwünsche kommen wohl von Ehemann Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Im vergangenen Dezember verkündete Ana Ivanovic überraschend das Ende ihrer Tennis-Karriere. Am Donnerstag wurde sie offiziell vom Profisport verabschiedet. Beim Halbfinale der French Open in Paris betrat die Frau von Bastian Schweinsteiger noch einmal den Tenniscourt. Wie auf ihrem Instagram-Account zu sehen ist, bekam die Serbin Blumen, eine Trophäe sowie ein Bild als Andenken überreicht. Sie nutzte das soziale Netzwerk außerdem, um sich zu bedanken: "Es war mit eine Ehre, den Tag werde ich nie vergessen", schrieb die 29-Jährige. Freudige Erinnerungen dürfte auch ihr Sieg der French Open in Paris 2008 geweckt haben.

An eben diesen Triumph erinnerte auch Bastian Schweinsteiger. Der Fußballprofi konnte seine Ehefrau nicht begleiten, schickte ihr aber ganz öffentliche Liebeserklärungen. Zum ersten Tag der "Rente" Ivanovics schwärmte er per Instagram von ihrer "unglaublichen Karriere". Er sei unendlich stolz auf seine Ana, betonte er weiter.
