"Kim as you've never seen her" - "Kim, wie du sie noch nie gesehen hast" - kündigt die "GQ" auf dem Titel an. Ganz einhalten kann sie das das Versprechen freilich nicht, denn wie schon Bette Midler vor einiger Zeit hämisch twitterte: "Wenn Kim Kardashian uns etwas zeigen möchte, das wir von ihr noch nicht gesehen haben, muss sie die Kamera hinunterschlucken." Dennoch sind bei dem Shooting einige geschmackvolle Bilder entstanden. Kardashian ist jedenfalls begeistert: "This was seriously a dream come true!!!!" postete der Reality-TV-Star auf seinem Instagram-Account, ein Traum sei wahr geworden.

Wie schon bei den vergangenen Magazin-Shootings wird es auch diesmal sicher Kritiker geben, die sich abfällig äußern und von Kardashians medialer Dauerpräsenz genervt sind. Am Donnerstag gab es schon die ersten negativen Reaktionen. Im Gespräch mit "Grazia Online" lästerte Sänger Bill Kaulitz über Kim und ihren Ehemann Kanye West. Er versteht den Hype um die Familie nicht, sagte der 26-Jährige: "Mir ist unbegreiflich, wie Leute die toll finden können", sagte Kaulitz dem Magazin. Eine merkwürdige Aussage für einen Musiker, dessen Karriere ins Stocken geraten ist und der weit davon entfernt ist, so viele Platten zu verkaufen wie Kanye West. Immerhin: West wie Kardashian können diese Kritik als Bestätigung sehen: Nur Erfolg zieht Neider an.
