"Lasst uns froh und munter sein", dachte sich offenbar auch Comedian Hape Kerkeling zur Weihnachtszeit und machte seinen treuen Fans ein ganz besonderes Weihnachtsgeschenk.
Seit einer knappen Woche zählt der beliebte Social-Media-Kanal Instagram einen deutschen Comedian mehr zu seinen Nutzern. Hape Kerkeling hat mit 60 Jahren nun seinen Weg auf die visuelle Plattform gefunden. Doch aus eigenem Antrieb passierte dies nicht.
Gewohnt humoristisch eröffnet er seinen Account mit einem kurzen Video. Die wenigen Postings, die er in der ersten Woche veröffentlichte, brachten dem Schauspieler bereits über 300.000 Follower ein. Ein neuer und zeitgemäßer Weg, um seinen Fans hier und da mal eine Portion Kerkeling-Humor zu schenken: "Liebe Freunde, zu Weihnachten schenke ich euch diesen, meinen ersten und einzigen offiziellen Insta-Kanal! Viel Spaß, Euer Hape", schrieb er dazu.
Ein Geschenk, für das sich Kerkeling Fans jedoch eher bei seinem Comedian -Kollegen Otto Waalkes bedanken sollten. Beim "Kölner Treff" im WDR plauderte Hape Kerkeling aus dem Nähkästchen, wie er zu seiner späten Influencer-Karriere kam.

"Otto hat mich da reingequatscht." Vor etwa einem Monat traf sich Kerkeling mit dem 76-jährigen Otto Waalkes , der ihm erklärte: "Ich habe gesehen, dass du gar kein Instagram hast. Ich habe das auch, das musst du machen." Zunächst sei Kerkeling der Idee gegenüber skeptisch gewesen. "Ich sagte ihm: 'Nee, Otto. Ich kenne mich damit doch gar nicht aus und kann das auch nicht einrichten.'"

Doch das stellte für Waalkes kein Gegenargument dar, kurzerhand übernahm der 16 Jahre ältere Waalkes das Aufsetzen des Accounts, erzählt Kerkeling der Moderatorin Susan Link. Und einen Auftrag für die Pflege des neuen Accounts bekam er auch gleich mit an die Hand: "Jetzt muss ich alle drei Tage lustige Adventsvideos posten."
Offenbar hat Otto Waalkes eine hohe Überzeugungskraft, denn noch im Mai 2024 sagte Hape Kerkeling: Social Media habe er schon einmal "ausprobiert, das ist aber nicht meine Welt", in einem Interview mit "Bild am Sonntag". Und wie lautet sein Fazit nach rund einer Woche Influencer-Dasein? "Anstrengend, aber die Leute gucken".
