"Ich bin so ratlos": Jenny Frankhauser leidet unter der Krankheit Lipödem

Jenny Frankhauser veröffentlicht auf Instagram, dass sie die Diagnose Lipödem erhielt. Mit ihren Followern teilt sie ihre Verzweiflung. Die sprechen ihr aber gut zu und haben sogar Tipps parat.
Im Dschungelcamp 2018 wurde sie zur Königin gekürt. Es folgten TV-Auftritte und erstmals stand sie mehr im Fokus als ihre Schwester Daniela Katzenberger. Doch nun teilt Jenny Frankhauser eine unschöne Nachricht mit ihren Followern auf Instagram. Sie habe zuletzt hart an ihrem Körper gearbeitet, immer erfolglos. Der Grund: "Diagnose Lipödem ... Monatelang trainierte ich täglich, bis mir langsam die Motivation ausging. Warum? Ich hatte nicht nur das Gefühl, dass sich an meinen Beinen überhaupt nichts tut, nein, es wurde sogar irgendwie schlimmer ... An eine Krankheit habe ich da aber wirklich nicht gedacht", beginnt die 26-Jährige ihren Instagram-Post. Auf dem geteilten Bild ist sie selbst in einem engen schwarzen Kleid am Strand zu sehen.
Sie schreibt weiter: "Ich habe immer eine andere Ausrede gesucht: 'Ich habe bestimmt nur Wasser in den Beinen.' 'Ich bilde mir das nur ein!' Sogar die Schmerzen habe ich mir schön geredet: 'Das ist bestimmt nur Muskelkater vom Training.' Aber nein. Gestern wollte ich mir meine Besenreiser entfernen lassen und stattdessen bekam ich die Diagnose Lipödem."

Wie hart Frankhauser diese Diagnose trifft, versucht sie im Posting zu erklären: "Jetzt ist es Gewissheit. Doch was nun? Sport und eiweißreiche Ernährung machen es noch schlimmer? Eine unheilbare Krankheit, die nur schlimmer wird? Die Lösung? Lebenslang Kompressionsstrümpfe und Lymphdrainage, oder doch eine OP und hilft das überhaupt? Ich bin so ratlos ..."
Ihre Follower sprechen der einstigen Dschungelkönigin gut zu und senden ihr Tipps. Eine Userin schreibt: "Auch, wenn der Schock gerade jetzt groß ist: Du bist nicht alleine! Wir sind in Deutschland den Umständen entsprechend gut versorgt und es gibt für alles Wege!" Auch Saskia Atzerodt, ehemalige Bachelor-Kandidatin und Ex-Freundin von Nico Schwanz, kommentiert das Foto von Jenny Frankhauser und rät ihr: "Liebes, ich habe mich direkt nach der Diagnose operieren lassen. Im Anfangsstadium kann man da noch einiges tun. Ich würde nicht lange überlegen."
