Schauspielerin Julia Louis-Dreyfus ist an Brustkrebs erkrankt. Ihre beiden Söhne schickten jetzt eine rührende Videobotschaft, um die 56-Jährige im Kampf gegen die Krankheit zu motivieren.
Wie nah Freud und Leid manchmal beieinander liegen, musste Schauspielerin Julia Louis-Dreyfus im vergangenen Jahr erfahren. Am 17. September erhielt die 56-Jährige bei der Emmy-Verleihung einen Preis als beste Hauptdarstellerin. Es war bereits der sechste Emmy für Louis-Dreyfus' Rolle der fiktiven Vizepräsidentin Selina Meyer in der US-Serie "Veep".
Doch nur einen Tag nach der Award-Show bekam die Amerikanerin eine schockierende Diagnose: Sie ist an Bruskrebs erkrankt. Louis-Dreyfus machte ihr Schicksal kurz darauf via Twitter öffentlich. "Eine von acht Frauen bekommt Brustkrebs. Heute bin ich es", schrieb sie.

Schon damals bedankte sie sich bei ihren Freunden und ihrer Familie für die Unterstützung. Einen ganz besonderen Gruß sendeten nun die Söhne von Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Charlie und Henry Hall, die aus ihrer 1987 geschlossenen Ehe mit Schauspieler Brad Hall stammen, nahmen ein Video für ihre Mutter auf. In dem kurzen Clip sind die beiden jungen Männer zu sehen, wie sie zum Michael-Jackson-Song "Beat It" tanzen. Dazu schrieben sie: "Mamas letzter Chemo-Tag!!! Besieg ihn!!" Die Botschaft ist klar: Charlie und Henry Hall wollen ihrer Mutter mit dem witzigen Einspieler Kraft für ihren Kampf gegen den Krebs geben. Julia Louis-Dreyfus war offenbar so gerührt von der Aktion ihrer Kinder, dass sie das Video auf ihrer Instagramseite veröffentlichte. "Meine wunderschönen Jungs haben das heute für mich gemacht. Ziemlich großartig, oder? Sind sie nicht süß?", kommentierte die Schauspielerin ihr Posting.

Bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass Julia Louis-Dreyfus nach ihrer letzten Chemotherapie wirklich als geheilt gilt. Das wäre sicher das schönste Geschenk zu ihrem 57. Geburtstag, den sie am 13. Januar feiert.
