Wilde Spekulationen um einen Knaller im ZDF: Angeblich soll der Sender eine Neuauflage von "Wetten, dass..?" planen – mit einem besonderen Moderations-Duo.
Am Montagnachmittag hat das ZDF verraten, dass es eine Zusammenarbeit mit Bill und Tom Kaulitz geben wird. Wie der Branchendienst "DWDL" am späten Montagabend berichtete, soll es sich dabei um eine Neuauflage von "Wetten, dass..?" handeln. Auch das Datum soll schon feststehen.
Demnach werden die Zwillinge die Samstagabend-Show erstmals am 5. Dezember 2026 präsentieren – gut drei Jahre nach dem Abschied von Thomas Gottschalk.
Am Montag gab sich das ZDF bei Instagram noch rätselhaft. Zu einem Bild der Brüder hieß es: "Die Katze hat uns ein paar Mäuse vor die Tür gelegt! Wir überlegen gerade, wo uns die beiden unterstützen können! Werden sie die neuen Experten bei Bares für Rares? Übernehmen sie den Gruberhof beim Bergdoktor? Ermitteln sie bei Aktenzeichen XY ... ungelöst? Oder gehen sie als Chefstewards auf dem Traumschiff an Bord?"

Schon 2023 wollten die Kaulitz-Brüder "Wetten, dass..?" moderieren
Bereits nach Gottschalks letzter Sendung hatten sich die Tokio-Hotel-Musiker, die auch mit ihrer Netflix-Show "Kaulitz & Kaulitz" und ihrem Podcast "Kaulitz Hills – Senf aus Hollywood" erfolgreich sind, in Stellung gebracht.
Die Reality-Serie hat sich unter Fans mittlerweile einen gewissen Kult-Status erarbeitet. Sie begleitet die beiden Zwillinge durch ihr facettenreiches Leben – etwa bei Geburtstagen, Konzerten und Geschäftsbesprechungen. Oft wird dabei herumgealbert.
Ende November 2023 erzählten sie bei der Vergabe der "1LIVE Krone", dass sie "Wetten, dass..?" gerne übernehmen würden. In ihrem Podcast konkretisierten sie, dass sie 2025 mit einem neuen Konzept des Show-Klassikers auf sich aufmerksam machen. "Bis dahin wird viel passieren, wir werden vieles ändern, wir setzen uns mit dem ZDF zusammen", sagte Tom Kaulitz .
Nun soll dieser Vorsatz laut "DWDL" Wirklichkeit werden.
