Vor 65 Jahren entstand ein Foto, das heute für Belustigung sorgt. Es zeigt zwei britische Soldaten, deren Söhne heute weltberühmt sind.
"Das erste Foto wurde vor 65 Jahren in Singapur geschossen, wo mein Vater – Captain John Ritchie – und Hugh Grants Vater – Captain James Grant – im gleichen Regiment stationiert waren", schreibt Hollywood-Regisseur Guy Ritchie zu einem alten Bild, das er auf seinem Instagram-Account teilte.

65 Jahre nachdem die beiden Soldaten in die Kamera lächelten, arbeiten ihre berühmten Söhne, Ritchie und Grant, zusammen an einem Film in London. Und das ist nicht das einzig Erstaunliche. "Durch einen Zufall haben wir entdeckt, dass der Großvater unseres Produktionsassistenten Rory Gibb ebenfalls auf dem Originalbild ist [er steht links neben Hugh Grants Vater, Anm. d. Red. ]. Die Ähnlichkeit ist zu sehen", schreibt Ritchie bei Instagram.Die drei Männer haben es sich nicht nehmen lassen, das Foto nachzustellen (zweites Foto bei Instagram) – und posierten samt Kostümen und mit Waffen in den Händen für die Kamera.

Gemeinsames Filmprojekt "The Gentlemen"
Ritchie und Grant haben gerade gemeinsam den Film "The Gentlemen" (kommt 2020 ins Kino) gedreht. Grant spielt darin an der Seite von Matthew McConaughey und Charlie Hunnam eine der Hauptrollen, Ritchie führt die Regie.
Doch nicht nur der Zufall an sich ist erstaunlich: Sowohl Ritchie als auch Grant sehen ihren Vätern extrem ähnlich.
Ritchie, der sich mit Filmen wie "Snatch" und "Sherlock Holmes" einen Namen machte, beendete sein Posting noch mit einem Aufruf an die Briten. "Gedenkt heute der Männer und Frauen in Uniform, die im Dienst während der Verteidigung anderer gefallen sind", schrieb er. In Großbritannien wird am Montag der sogenannte "Remembrance Day" zu Ehren gefallener und ehemaliger Soldaten gefeiert.
Ihre eigenen Verwandten haben Ritchie, Grant und Produktionsassistent Gibb zweifelsohne gewürdigt.
