Er ist nur 73 Jahre alt geworden und hatte noch viel vor: Der Designer Thierry Mugler ist am 23. Januar 2022 verstorben und auch die Stars trauern um den kreativen Kopf der Modeindustrie.
Überraschend ist der Modedesigner Manfred Thierry Mugler am Sonntag, den 23. Januar verstorben. Sein Tod wurde auf den sozialen Netzwerken des Designers und Fotografs bekannt gegeben. In den 70er Jahren gründete Mugler sein eigenes Modelabel, schnell wurde dies bei den Stars heiß begehrt, sodass er einer der erfolgreichsten Designer in den 80er und 90er Jahren wurde. Aber auch in den letzten Jahrzehnten und durch seine umwerfenden Duftkreationen, wie das weltweit berühmte Parfüm "Alien", blieb Manfred Thierry Mugler im Gespräch und einer der Größten seiner Zeit.
"Ich vermisse dich, Thierry Mugler , dies war eine wundervolle Zeit in unserem Leben", schreibt Diana Ross zu ihrem bei Twitter geposteten Bild.

Kourtney Kardashian postet ein Bild der Kardashian-Jenner-Familie in ihrer Instagram-Story, auf dem sie alle in Mugler gekleidet sind, die Tochter von Mick Jagger, Georgia May Jagger, kommentiert die Todesmeldung auf dem Instagram-Kanal des Designers mit den Worten: "Ich kann nicht glauben, dass das wahr sein soll." Ich weiß nicht, was er sich dabei dachte, eine dünne 16-Jährige zu über den Catwalk mit den Supermodels laufen zu lassen, aber es war eine unglaubliche Erfahrung. Er gab Frauen eine unglaubliche Vorstellungskraft, ihre sexuelle Energie wie eine Waffe zu tragen. Ruhe in Kraft.“
