Prinzessin Eugenie und Ehemann Jack Brooksbank haben sich zum Thronjubiläum erstmals öffentlich mit ihrem kleinen Sohn August gezeigt. Der Kleine hat, wie seine Oma Fergie und seine Tante Beatrice, rote Haare.
Royales Debüt: Prinzessin Eugenie und ihr Ehemann, Jack Brooksbank, haben sich erstmals öffentlich mit ihrem Sohn August gezeigt. Die Familie besuchte am vergangenen Sonntag den Festzug zum Platin-Thronjubiläum von Queen Elizabeth II. und nahm auf der Tribüne Platz. Fotos zeigen August in einem hellblauen Wollpullover mit Union-Jack-Motiv, der Nationalflagge des Vereinigten Königreichs. Er saß abwechselnd auf dem Schoß seiner Mutter und seines Vaters und verfolgte aufmerksam die Feierlichkeiten.

Prinzessin Eugenie postete mehrere Fotos und Videos des Festzugs auf Instagram . Darauf sieht man August auf dem Schoß von Jack Brooksbank unter anderem winken, als er dem Live-Auftritt von Ed Sheeran und dem Song "Perfect" lauscht. "Der Platinjubiläums-Festzug war einfach unglaublich", schrieb Eugenie dazu. "Allen, die daran teilgenommen haben, die ihn organisiert haben, die dafür gesorgt haben, dass es für uns Zuschauer perfekt war, DANKE. Ihr habt uns alle so stolz gemacht."

Zu Fotos des Festgottesdienstes am Freitag hatte Eugenie bereits persönliche Zeilen an ihre Großmutter gerichtet: "Wir feiern 70 Jahre... Ich könnte nicht stolzer sein! Danke, Eure Majestät, für 70 Jahre Hingabe und Selbstlosigkeit. Wir lieben dich!"
Bisher hatte Eugenie auf Instagram meist darauf geachtet, das Gesicht ihres Sohnes nicht zu zeigen. Der Kleine kam am 9. Februar 2021 zur Welt und ist der neunte Urenkel der Queen. Die Prinzessin und der Londoner Geschäftsmann Jack Brooksbank sind seit 2018 verheiratet.
