Schauspielerin Sharon Stone trauert um ihren Neffen River. Der Sohn ihres Bruders starb an Organversagen. Er wurde nur elf Monate alt.
Seit Tagen bangte Schauspielerin Sharon Stone um das Leben ihres Neffen. Jetzt ist es traurige Gewissheit: River ist im Alter von nur elf Monaten gestorben. Das teilte Stone via Instagram mit. Sie veröffentlichte ein Video, in dem der Junge lachend zu sehen ist. Dazu setzte sie sein Geburtsdatum, 8. September 2020, und teilte mit, dass er am 30. August verstorben ist. Unterlegt ist der Clip mit dem Song "Tears In Heaven" von Eric Clapton, der das Lied seinem 1991 verstorbenen Sohn Conor gewidmet hat. Der damals Vierjährige war aus dem 53. Stock eines New Yorker Wohnhauses gestürzt.

Bereits am vergangenen Freitag hatte Sharon Stone ein dramatisches Bild veröffentlicht, das ihren Neffen und Patensohn im Krankenhaus zeigte. Der kleine Junge sei mit totalem Organversagen in seinem Bett gefunden worden, schrieb Stone. "Bitte betet für ihn. Wir brauchen ein Wunder." River war der Sohn von Stones jüngerem Bruder Patrick und dessen Frau Tasha.

Sharon Stone verlor Angehörige durch Corona
Prominente Follower von Sharon Stone kommentierten unter ihrem Posting die schreckliche Nachricht. So schrieb unter anderem Schauspiel-Kollegin Hilary Swank, dass sie für die gesamte Familie Stone bete. Naomi Watts schickte "all ihre Liebe und Stärke an dich und die Familie" und Selma Blair bemerkte einfach nur kurz: "Es tut mir sehr leid. Oh mein Gott."
Für Sharon Stone ist Rivers Tod ein weiterer Verlust, den sie verkraften muss. Die 63-Jährige hatte im vergangenen Jahr öffentlich gemacht, dass mehrere Familienmitglieder an Corona gestorben sind. Zudem bangte sie wochenlang um ihre Schwester Kelly und deren Ehemann. Beide erkrankten schwer an Covid-19 und mussten im Krankenhaus behandelt werden.
