Mick Schumacher bereitet sich auf sein zweites Rennen in der Formel 1 vor. Am Sonntag tritt er zum ersten Mal auf Michaels Haus- und Hofstrecke in Imola an. Unterstützung erhält er von Mutter Corinna und dem gemeinsamen Hund Angie.

Er das zweite Rennen seiner Karriere, sein erstes in Europa, und das in Imola (Sonntag, ab 13.30 Uhr live bei RTL). Dem ehemaligen "Ferrari-Wohnzimmer" von Papa Michael. Für Mick Schumacher ein ganz besonderes Rennen. Das will sich auch Mama Corinna nicht entgehen lassen. Die 52-Jährige unterstützt ihren Sprössling an der Strecke. Und er kann es gut gebrauchen.

"Vor allem am Abend kann es beim Abschalten helfen. Es ist immer gut, wenn man Unterstützung dabei hat", sagte Schumacher der "Bild". Auch Hündin Angie ist am Start. Der Vierbeiner ist der heimliche Fitnesstrainer in der Vorbereitung auf Imola. Schließlich braucht ein Australian Shepard viel Bewegung.
Bewegung in der Natur. Nicht nur für Hunde Entspannung pur. "Es war gut, frische Luft zu schnappen, wenn man im Rennen schon so viele Gase der anderen Autos vor sich hat. Aber es war auch ein guter Sport-Faktor, wir haben über 1000 Höhenmeter hinter uns gebracht", sagte der 22-Jährige mit Blick auf seine Auszeit am Genfer See. Für Imola scheint Mick gerüstet.

Imola – im Hause Schumacher immer noch ein Ort mit besonderem Klang. Michael ist auf der Haus- und Hofstrecke der Scuderia Rekordsieger. Sieben Mal triumphierte der F1-Rekordweltmeister hier. Auch Onkel Ralf feierte 2001 in Imola einen seiner sechs GP-Siege. Wenn das mal kein gutes Omen ist.
