Wie macht man eine Frau glücklich? Bei Model Chrissy Teigen ist das offenbar einfach: Die 30-Jährige bekam von ihrem Mann, Musiker John Legend, einen riesigen Parmesan-Laib geschenkt - und kriegt sich vor Begeisterung gar nicht mehr ein.
Chrissy Teigen, Model und Ehefrau des Musikers John Legend , ist schwanger. Hungerattacken und Gelüste auf allerlei Fettiges und Saures scheinen daher normal zu sein. Dass die 30-Jährige allerdings gleich einen kompletten Käselaib verlangt, ist eher außergewöhnlich. Teigen postete auf Instagram ein Foto, das ihren Gatten mit einem Parmesan-Laib zeigt, den er ihr als vorzeitiges Weihnachtsgeschenk überreichte. "John hat mir zu Weihnachten einen Lebenstraum erfüllt! Einen Käselaib, in den ich für viele Jahre Pasta und Risotto füllen kann“, schrieb die werdende Mutter.

Kalorienreicher Käse und Modelfigur - wie passt das zusammen? Teigen bezeichnet sich selbst als eingefleischte Genießerin, vor allem während der Schwangerschaft. "Ich esse einfach, worauf ich Lust habe. Der Bauch wächst so oder so", sagt Teigen. Das Supermodel steht vor allem auf die italienische Küche. Pizza, Pasta, Risotto. "Wenn ihr noch keines dieser Käseräder in Aktion gesehen habt, oh Mann, es ist einfach wunderbar. Heiße Pasta auf den Käse geben, der schmilzt langsam und wird dann serviert. Das macht mich richtig emotional", schreibt Teigen auf Instagram.

John Legend hat offenbar Gefallen an den Gelüsten seiner Gattin gefunden. "Ich fand schwangere Frauen schon immer sexy. Ich finde es aufregend, eine so schöne schwangere Frau zu haben, die den ganzen Tag irgendetwas in sich hineinstopft“, sagte der Sänger kürzlich gegenüber einem US-Magazin.
Eine ziemlich fleißige Frau hat er obendrein. Teigen veröffentlichte im Februar ein eigenes Kochbuch mit dem passenden Titel "Cravings" ("Gelüste"). "Das Buch ist mein Baby, also mein anderes Baby“, erklärt Teigen. Seit 2014 betreibt sie bereits recht erfolgreich den Food-Blog "So Delushious" . Nun fasste sie alle Lieblingsrezepte in einem Buch zusammen: vom frittierten Hähnchen mit scharfer Honigbutter, der Leibspeise ihres Mannes, bis zu den Familienrezepten ihrer thailändischen Mama. Und ein überraschendes Eingeständnis von Teigen gibt es obendrein: "Der Duft von frisch gebratenem Speck am Morgen wirkt sehr erotisch."
