Wieder ein Comeback einer Kult-Serie: Medienberichten zufolge soll "Beverly Hills, 90210" eine Neuauflage bekommen. Ein Großteil der Hauptdarsteller von damals soll sogar dabei an Bord sein.
Nach "Full House", den "Gilmore Girls" und "Akte X" soll nun eine weitere 90er/2000er Kult-Serie ihr Revival erleben. Wie das US-Magazin "Deadline" erfahren haben will, bekommt "Beverly Hills, 90210" eine neue Staffel. Demnach werde ein Konzept für die neue Auflage aktuell Sendern und Streaming-Diensten zum Kauf angeboten, wie ein Insider der Online-Seite verriet. Das größte Interesse an einer Neuauflage habe demzufolge der Fernsehsender CBS.
Bereits im März hatte Schauspielerin Tori Spelling auf Instagram zu Verstehen gegeben, dass eine neue "Beverly Hills, 90210"-Serie in Planung sei: "Zurück bei der Arbeit. Großartiger, kreativer Tag gestern mit meinem Partner-In-Crime Jennie Garth (spielt in der Serie Kelly Taylor und ist seit den Dreharbeiten in den Neunzigern mit Spelling befreundet, Anm. d. Red. )", schrieb die Darstellerin von Donna Martin in einem Beitrag. Ihre Ortsangabe dazu: "CBS Studio Center". Doch was ist wirklich an den Gerüchten dran?

Die Gerüchte um "Beverly Hills, 90210" sind stichfest
Tatsächlich viel. Vor wenigen Tagen veröffentlichte "TMZ" mehrere Fotos. Sie zeigten die Schauspieler und Autoren kaffeetrinkend bei einem gemeinsamen Treffen. Das Klatsch-Portal schrieb auch, dass die Beteiligten angeblich über ein mögliches Reboot sprachen. Zum Inhalt sei bislang aber nichts bekannt. Allerdings sollen viele der jugendlichen Darsteller von damals auch in der möglichen Neuauflage die Hauptrolle spielen.
Ursprünglich war "Beverly Hills, 90210" von 1990 bis 2000 auf dem amerikanischen Fernsehsender "Fox" zu sehen. Zehn Staffeln wurden in den zehn Jahren gedreht. Dabei ging es hauptsächlich um Liebesdramen und Intrigen. Die Serie war damals so erfolgreich, dass sogar zwei Ableger produziert wurden: "Melrose Place" und dann "90210". Nun kommt also wohl die Original-Serie zurück.
