Veronica Ferres hat in Til Schweigers Remake seines Films "Honig im Kopf" mitgespielt. Doch den Titel des Films kennt sie offenbar nicht - wie ein Instagram-Posting verrät.
Dieses Foto von Veronica Ferres wird viele ihrer Fans überrascht haben: Es zeigt die deutsche Schauspielerin zusammen mit Nick Nolte im Bett. Die Aufnahme stammt von den Dreharbeiten des US-Remakes von Til Schweigers großem Kinoerfolg "Honig im Kopf". Schweiger konnte für diesen Film zahlreiche bekannte Hollywood-Stars gewinnen. Neben Nolte wirken unter anderem Matt Dillon, Emily Mortimer und Jacqueline Bisset mit.

Was nur wenige wissen: Auch Veronica Ferres gehört zum Cast dieses Films. Offenbar scheint sie es selbst nicht mehr so recht zu wissen. Denn auf Instagram hat sie ein Szenenfoto aus dem Remake gepostet, das sie "Honey in the Head" nennt. Das ist zwar die wörtliche Übersetzung des deutschen Titels "Honig im Kopf", jedoch mitnichten der Titel des Films. Der heißt nämlich "Head Full of Honey".

Zu Veronica Ferres' Ehrenrettung sei gesagt, dass "Honey in the Head" tatsächlich der Arbeitstitel des Films war. Zudem bekleidet die 53-Jährige in dem Streifen nur eine kleine Nebenrolle. Sie spielt eine Zugreisende. Immerhin hat sie auf diese Weise eine hübsche Szene bekommen, in der sie zusammen mit Nick Nolte im Bett schläft.
Bei der amerikanischen Kritik und beim US-Publikum ist das Remake allerdings durchgefallen. Der am 4. Dezember gestartete Film erhielt zum Teil brutale Verrisse. So sah der "Observer" "keinen glaubhaften Moment in diesem Fiasko" und fand ihn "so lustig wie eine Wurzelbehandlung ohne Narkose". Die "Los Angeles Times" kritisierte das überlange "Durcheinander, das von einem Menschen mit fehlgeleiteten kreativen Instinkten stammt". Aufgrund der schlechten Besucherzahlen wurde "Head Full of Honey" zudem nach nur sechs Tagen aus den Kinos genommen.
Ein unerwarteter Flop für den sonst so erfolgsverwöhnten Schweiger : Das Original "Honig im Kopf" lockte 2015 in Deutschland mehr als sieben Millionen Zuschauer in die Kinos und spielte 57 Millionen Euro ein. Auch das Remake soll hier demnächst zu sehen sein: Der Kinostart ist für den 21. März angekündigt.
