Eigentlich wollte Susanne Daubner das Jugendwort des Jahres nicht mehr präsentieren. Doch die Fans konnten die "Kult-Ansagerin" mit berührenden Kommentaren überzeugen.
Nachrichtensprecherin Susanne Daubner hat sich von ihren Fans überzeugen lassen und doch wieder das Jugendwort des Jahres auf Social-Media-Kanälen der "Tagesschau" erklärt. "Liebe Community, eure Kommentare haben mich so geflasht und berührt. Ich habe sie fast alle gelesen und ich muss sagen: Ihr habt mich überzeugt", sagte die 63-Jährige in einem Video auf dem Instagram-Kanal und dem Tiktok-Account der "Tagesschau".

Eigentlich hatte Daubner Ende Juli angekündigt, das Jugendwort des Jahres nicht mehr im Internet zu präsentieren und nun anderen den Vortritt zu lassen – nach dem Protest ihrer Anhänger nun der Sinneswandel: "Ja, ich bin wieder für Euch da und werde weiter die Jugendwörter für euch verkünden."
Dementsprechend präsentierte sie auch den aktuellen Sieger "Aura" (besondere Ausstrahlung und Charisma einer Person) und schob ein passendes Beispiel in ihrer bekannten Art gleich hinterher: "Ich wurde einfach von einer KI ersetzt – minus 5000 Aura."
Jugendwort des Jahres bescherte Susanne Daubner große Fangemeinde
Bei der diesjährigen Abstimmung vom Langenscheidt Verlag hatte sich "Aura" knapp vor "Talahon" und "Schere" durchgesetzt.

Das "Jugendwort des Jahres" gibt es seit 2008. Daubner hatte die jeweiligen Wörter in den vergangenen Jahren in Beiträgen für die sozialen Netzwerke präsentiert – und sich dabei eine Fangemeinde geschaffen. 2021 hatte sie in einem Clip das Gewinnerwort "Cringe" (zum Fremdschämen) präsentiert und es in staatstragendem Ton so erklärt: "'Cringe' ist das Gefühl, das Sie haben, wenn ich den folgenden Satz sage: 'Digga, wie fly ist eigentlich die 'Tagesschau', wenn sie mit Jugendwörtern flext. Läuft bei dir – ARD.'"
