Janni Hönscheid und Peer Kusmagk sind erneut Eltern geworden. Auf Instagram hat das Paar bekanntgegeben, wie seine Tochter heißt. Der Name ist ungewöhnlich.
Sie haben ihre Follower immer wieder an der Suche nach einem Babynamen teilhaben lassen. Erst im Mai posteten Janni Hönscheid und Peer Kusmagk auf ihrem geteilten Instagram-Account eine Tafel mit möglichen Mädchennamen. Nela-Lilou, Jewel, Lola-Reef und Arielle waren mit im Rennen - am Ende ist es ein ganz anderer geworden.

Die gerade geborene Tochter des Reality-TV-Paares heißt Yoko. Der Name stammt aus dem Japanischen und bedeutend sowohl "Kind der Sonne" als auch "Kind des Meeres". Mit dem zweiten Vornamen ihres Sohnes - Emil Ocean - haben Hönscheid und Kusmagk bereits das Lieblingselement der Surferin gewürdigt. In den Reaktionen unter ihrer Verkündung auf Instagram sorgt die Wahl bereits jetzt für Diskussionen. "Nicht alltäglich, aber das passt zu euch", schreibt eine Abonnentin des Paares. "Yoko ist Geschmackssache", befindet eine andere.

Ob sie bei der Suche nach einem passenden Vornamen für ihren Nachwuchs auf die Beatles gestoßen sind, haben die frischgebackenen Eltern nicht verraten. Zweifelsohne ist die Witwe der 1980 verstorbenen Musiklegende John Lennon, Yoko Ono , die wohl berühmteste Vertreterin des Namens. Dass er im Englischen "Ocean Child" bedeutet, fand schon in dem von John Lennon geschriebenen Beatles-Klassiker "Julia" Erwähnung.
Fans kommt noch eine ganz andere Assoziation
Die Verbindung zur von einigen Beatles-Fans verhassten Yoko ziehen in den Kommentaren unter dem Instagram -Posting allerdings nur wenige Nutzer. Die meisten erinnert der Mädchenname eher an ein berühmtes, deutsches TV-Duo. "Yoko und Klaas, Dienstag auf ProSieben", schreibt eine Abonnentin unter dem Beitrag. Yoko Ono, Joko Winterscheidt - ganz gleich, welche Assoziationen den Social-Media-Usern kommen, als Kind des Ozeans passt das kleine Mädchen gut in die Familie.
