Im Sommer 2018 haben sie mit Pomp und Protz geheiratet, jetzt kämpfen Ex-Bachelor Leonard Freier und seine Frau Caona um ihre Ehe. Der 34-Jährige nennt auch Gründe für die Probleme.
Vor nicht mal einem Jahr hat Leonard Freier , Bachelor des Jahres 2016, seine Freundin Caona Maron auf Schloss Wulkow in der Nähe von Berlin geheiratet. Das Ereignis wurde live per Instagram-Story begleitet, von den Vorbereitungen über die Trauung bis hin zur Party. Quasi sekündlich hielten Caona und Leonard ihre Follower auf dem Laufenden.
Umso überraschender kommt nun die Aussage des 34-Jährigen, dass die Beziehung auf der Kippe steht. "Wir kämpfen um unsere Ehe . Die Situation ist aktuell nicht sehr einfach. Wir stecken in einer schwierigen Phase", sagte Freier der "Bild"-Zeitung. Einen Grund für die Probleme nennt er auch: "Wir haben nach der Hochzeit einfach so weitergemacht, wie wir es vorher gemacht haben. Das war ein Fehler. Wir haben uns inzwischen jeder für sich in völlig andere Richtungen entwickelt."

Zuletzt sah man das Paar Mitte April bei einer Musical-Premiere in Berlin. Noch im Februar machte die 28-Jährige ihrem Mann zum Geburtstag eine öffentliche Liebes-Erklärung. "Ich brauche nur dich und deine Liebe. Happy Birthday my endless love", schrieb Caona auf Instagram zu einem gemeinsamen Foto.Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass es in der Beziehung von Freier und Maron kriselt. Das Paar hat eine Tochter, trennte sich allerdings 2015 nach sechs Jahren. Während der Liebes-Pause trat Freier im TV als "Der Bachelor" auf und war danach kurzzeitig mit Angelina Heger liiert, auch sie wurde durch das Kuppelformat bekannt.

2018 kehrte Freier schließlich zu seiner Ex-Freundin zurück. Nach der Verlobung folgte die mit Pomp und Protz inszenierte Sommerhochzeit. Dass die Ehe nun gescheitert sein soll, will Freier nicht akzeptieren. Er ist bereit für eine Paar-Therapie und hat seinen Lebenswandel geändert. "Ich bin trotz meines Berufs mindestens dreimal die Woche daheim und gehe nicht mehr auf Abendveranstaltungen. Es wäre sehr schade, wenn wir es nicht schaffen würden. Ich habe die Hoffnung nicht aufgegeben", so der ehemalige TV-Junggeselle.
