Thomas Müller befindet sich nach seiner Infektion mit dem Coronavirus in Quarantäne. Im gehe es "ordentlich", teilte der Bayernstar jetzt auf Instagram mit und schickte seinen Fans einen Valentins-Gruß.
Bayern-Profi Thomas Müller hat sich nach seiner Infektion mit dem Coronavirus erstmals öffentlich zu Wort gemeldet. Es gehe ihm "so weit ordentlich", teilte der 31-Jährige am Sonntag in einer kurzen Videobotschaft mit, die er auf Instagram veröffentlichte.
"Die letzten Tage waren sehr turbulent", sagte Müller. Er musste nach einem positiven Corona-Test während der Klub-Weltmeisterschaft in Katar mit einem Ambulanzflugzeug aus Doha zurück nach München reisen. Müller bedankte sich für "Genesungswünsche, für die Nachrichten, für die Unterstützung, die ich erhalten habe". Er befindet sich in häuslicher Quarantäne : "Machen wir das Beste draus", bemerkte Müller.

Flick hofft auf baldige Rückkehr von Müller
Bayern -Trainer Hansi Flick hofft auf eine rasche Rückkehr des Angreifers nach dessen Quarantäne. Flick berichtete am Sonntag von einem Telefonat mit dem Vize-Kapitän. Die Quarantäne und Isolation seien schwer für Müller, da der Ex-Nationalspieler ja ein Mensch sei, der sehr gerne und viel kommuniziere, bemerkte Flick. Zum Teammeeting schaltete er den Fußball-Profi per Video-Anruf zu.
Müller hatte nach dem positiven Testergebnis nicht mit der Mannschaft nach dem Sieg bei der Klub-WM, bei der er das Finale verpasst hatte, heimreisen können. Auf Fotos der "Bild"-Zeitung war zu sehen, wie er am späten Freitagabend auf dem Münchner Flughafen das Flugzeug in einem weißen Schutzanzug verlässt.

Rückkehr ist noch nicht ganz klar
Müller wird dem Tabellenführer bei den Ligaspielen gegen Arminia Bielefeld am Montag und Eintracht Frankfurt am kommenden Samstag fehlen. Ob das Champions-League-Duell am 23. Februar bei Lazio Rom wieder ein Thema sein könnte, ließ Flick offen. "Er ist ein sehr wichtiger Spieler für uns. Wir hoffen, dass er möglichst schnell wieder zu Kräften kommt und der Mannschaft zur Verfügung steht."
