So eine Nachricht hätten wohl viele HipHop-Fans gerne auf ihrem Handy: Samy Deluxe erhielt am Sonntag eine Rückrufbitte von niemand geringerem als einem Mitglied des Wu-Tang Clans. Dieser hatte sich aber wohl zuerst bei Samys Mutter gemeldet.
Von dieser Nachricht dürften viele Kinder der 80er und 90er-Jahre geträumt haben: "Hallo mein Großer, gestern hat jemand vom Wu-Tang Clan hier angerufen, weil er dich unter der (alten) Handynummer nicht erreicht hat. Er bittet um Rückruf."
Diese Nachricht erhalten hat jedoch niemand geringeres als Samy Deluxe. Dessen Mutter überbrachte ihm die erfreuliche Botschaft am Sonntagmorgen ganz unaufgeregt per SMS. Der HipHop-Artist antworte begeistert mit einem "Beste Message Mom" und teilte die Konversation später auf Instagram.

Mit ihrem grimmigem und düsterem Sound prägte das Kollektiv Wu-Tang Clan aus New York den HipHop der 90er -Jahre. Die Gründungsmitglieder RZA, GZA, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killa, Inspectah Deck, U-God und Masta Killa waren alle sowohl solo als auch im Kollektiv erfolgreich.
