Bislang kannten wir sie als Model und Werbeikone. Doch jetzt wird Sophia Thomalla seriös: Die 30-Jährige steigt bei einem Start-up ein - mit einem großen Betrag.
Sie ist für ihre klaren Worte bekannt. Und so nimmt Sophia Thomalla auch dann kein Blatt vor den Mund, als sie auf Instagram ihre neue Karriere als Investorin verkündet. Sie finde vegane Kaffeeläden einfach unsexy - so begründet die Tochter von Schauspielerin Simone Thomalla, weshalb sie ausgerechnet in die Baubranche einsteigt.
Die "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung" hatte zuerst über das Engagement der 30-Jährigen bei dem ostwestfälischen Start-up Schüttflix berichtet. Dabei handelt es sich um eine digitale Plattform, die Produzenten, Spediteure und Kunden zusammenführt. Wer Schüttgut kaufen will, muss bislang ein Branchenverzeichnis wälzen und lange herumtelefonieren, um den günstigsten Anbieter in der Nähe zu finden. Schüttflix soll da Transparenz schaffen und die Prozesse vereinfachen.
Sophia Thomalla greift tief in die Tasche
Den Einstieg in das Start-up lässt sich Sophia Thomalla einiges Kosten. Laut "FAZ" macht das Model dafür "einen hohen sechsstelligen Betrag" locker. Sie sei lediglich als Markenbotschafterin für die Firma angefragt worden. "Aber ich war von der Idee so überzeugt, dass ich gesagt habe, nee, nur Werbegesicht möchte ich nicht sein, sondern ich möchte mit einsteigen", sagt sie der Tageszeitung.

Laut "FAZ" soll das Geschäft von Schüttflix bislang hervorragend angelaufen sein. Die durchschnittliche Wachstumsrate solle im hohen zweistelligen Prozentbereich liegen - monatlich. Kein schlechtes Investment für Sophia Thomalla, die auf Instagram schreibt: "Feminismus ist, wenn man als Frau mit coolen Jungs Geschäfte macht."
