Die Ausstellung "Wer wir sind" in der Bundeskunsthalle Bonn ist am Sonntag zu Ende gegangen. Bei ihrem Abbau wundern sich die Kuratoren über ein unbekanntes, dazugehangenes Gemälde – und suchen nun den Künstler.
Beim Abbau einer zu Ende gegangenen Ausstellung in der Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn haben Kuratoren ein Bild mehr gezählt als sie ursprünglich aufgehängt hatten. Sie gehen davon aus, dass ein Unbekannter das kleine Frauenbildnis unbemerkt in die Ausstellung geschmuggelt hat. "Wir finden das lustig & möchten den/die Künstler*in kennenlernen", schrieb die Bundeskunsthalle auf X, vormals Twitter. "Also melde dich! Es gibt keinen Ärger. Ehrenwort."

Ausstellungskuratorin Johanna Adam sagte der Deutschen Presse-Agentur, sie könne nur mutmaßen, wie das Bild in die Ausstellung gelangt sei. "Das Bild ist nicht besonders groß, insofern könnte es jemand unter seinem Pulli versteckt haben." Auf jeden Fall könne es erst in den letzten Tagen passiert sein, andernfalls wäre es früher aufgefallen.
Kein Wachpersonal bei Fundort des Gemäldes in der Bundeskunsthalle
"Dadurch, dass das Werk in einem Eckchen platziert wurde, in dem keine anderen Kunstwerke installiert waren – dort waren Hörstationen und Wandtexte und Fotos als Wandgrafik zu sehen – war an dieser Stelle auch kein Wachpersonal erforderlich", so Adam. Die am Sonntag zu Ende gegangene Ausstellung "Wer wir sind" hatte sich mit der deutschen Migrationsgeschichte beschäftigt.
