Das sah schlimm aus: Nach einem Zusammenstoß im Spiel gegen Augsburg geht der Schalker Stürmer Mark Uth zu Boden und bleibt zunächst regungslos liegen. Das Bundesligaspiel wird minutenlang unterbrochen. Mittlerweile geht es ihm besser.
Wenige Stunden nach seinem schlimmen Zusammenprall beim Bundesliga-Spiel in Augsburg hat Schalkes Fußball-Profi Mark Uth Entwarnung gegeben. "Guten Abend zusammen. Mir geht's ganz gut ... Werde voraussichtlich morgen schon wieder aus dem Krankenhaus entlassen", schrieb der 29 Jahre alte Ex-Nationalspieler am Sonntagabend bei Instagram neben einem Foto von sich im Krankenbett. Und: "Vielen Dank für eure zahlreichen Genesungswünsche."

Uth hatte beim 2:2 in Augsburg nach einem Kopfballduell und Sturz auf den Rasen eine Gehirnerschütterung erlitten, teilte sein Verein mit. "Es war dramatisch, wir wussten nicht, was ist", sagte Sascha Riether, Koordinator der Schalker Lizenzspielerabteilung, nach dem Spiel bei Sky.
Mark Uth musste minutenlang behandelt werden
Uth war wenige Minuten nach dem Anpfiff nach einem Kopfballduell mit FCA-Verteidiger Felix Uduokhai im Mittelfeld bei der Landung mit dem Kopf auf den Boden geknallt und benommen liegen geblieben. Der Angreifer musste minutenlang auf dem Rasen behandelt werden. Sein Hals wurde stabilisiert, zudem bekam er eine Infusion. Uth wurde schließlich mit einer Trage vom Platz und begleitet vom Mannschaftsarzt ins Krankenhaus gebracht. Dort müsse er über Nacht bleiben, hieß es am Abend.
